2. For leave within one week: Clean ink station, wiper blade and carriage bottom first. Start the machine, let the carriage return home, then power off fully.
3. For leave over one week: Clean ink station, wiper blade and carriage bottom. Push carriage to left. Stick non-sticky transparent film matching print head size onto the print head. Pour proper cleaning fluid into ink pad; use pure water for indoor printers. Move carriage to middle, reboot to reset position, then cut off all power.
4. Apply lubricant oil on guide rails.
5. Inspect parts to avoid mouse damage.
6. Unplug all power supplies before leaving.
7. Resuming work: Check circuits for mouse damage first. Lower ink station then shut down. Push carriage left, remove protective film and clean the print head surrounding area. Move carriage back to center, run print head cleaning and test machine operation.
