Solutions for Print Head Blockage, Skewed Ink Spray & Print Head Damage
These problems are mostly caused by dirty ink tubes and dirty print heads. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Take off the print head. Clean the whole ink system with special UV cleaning liquid. If there are crystals or hardened ink inside the tubes, replace the ink tubes and ink filters.
Step 2: Clean leftover ink on the print head surface. Do not let cleaning liquid or ink touch the print head circuit board.
Step 3: Prepare tools: 1. UV cleaning liquid 2. Cleaning tube connector 3. Glass syringe 4. Cleaning tray 5. Non-woven fabric 6. Cotton swabs
Step 4: Clean all leftover dirt and ink on the print head surface.
Step 5: Lay clean non-woven fabric at the bottom of the cleaning tray, pour in clean cleaning liquid, then put the print head into the tray. Pull the cleaning liquid from the tray into the syringe, then push out all liquid in the syringe. Repeat this pull and push action 5 to 10 times. Finally, clean the print head repeatedly with positive pressure using the syringe.
Notes: 1. Do not use too much force when pulling and pushing liquid. Always pull liquid first for the first cleaning. 2. Make sure the tray and cleaning liquid are completely clean before operation, or the print head blockage will get worse.
